The room was clean and had a cozy ambiance, complemented by a good selection of teas, coffees, and homemade shortbread. Dinner featured a massive steak and ale pie that was incredibly satisfying. the breakfast experience felt rushed as cleaning started while we were still dining, which was uncomfortable. the requirement to pre-order breakfast the night before may not suit everyone's preference.

Great stay with comfy vibes
Had a nice 3-night stay in a premium double room with a view. Breakfast was great—loved the fresh fruit and proper scrambled eggs! The staff were super friendly and made us feel at home. Only issue was we wished for a lift after a long day of hiking, those stairs were no joke!

The king room was cozy and had quirky decor that made it fun. It was clean and tidy, but the window was a bit small, which made it feel darker than I’d like. Everything else was spot on, but a bit more light would have made it even better.

Dog-friendly and comfy stay
We spent 2 nights here and felt super welcome, especially with our two dogs. The room was spotless and you'd never think it was dog-friendly. Loved the bright bathroom and powerful shower! Only thing? The breakfast room could use more windows. The staff were all so nice, made our mornings great.

The location couldn't be better, offering a charming atmosphere in the heart of the Dales. The evening meals were impressive, featuring freshly baked bread and generous portions, making dining a memorable experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, enhancing the warm environment of the space. the live music did create a lively ambiance that might not be suitable for everyone seeking a quieter night in their room.
